Senior Engineering Manager, Core Cloud

About the Role 

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development and operations of the core cloud infrastructure powering the CUJO AI Cloud solution. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for mission-critical systems such as Agent Fleet Management systems and Partner APIs—key components that ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform.

As a senior leader, you will drive the technical vision, execution strategy, and delivery excellence of our cloud services. You’ll be expected to bring deep engineering expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to guide a talented team and collaborate across functions.

This role is well-suited for an experienced engineering manager who thrives on building strong teams, fostering clarity in execution, and improving the long-term sustainability of engineering practices. You’ll play a key role in shaping how we work—creating an environment where operational responsibilities, architectural improvements, and feature development are in healthy balance. Your leadership will help the team maintain a clear view of upcoming improvements, enabling predictable delivery and continuous progress. With strong support from leadership, you’ll help evolve our cloud architecture while ensuring the team is set up for success.

The compensation package is from 6500 EUR to 9500 EUR (gross), depending on your experience. 

In This Role, You Will 

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering collaboration and professional growth. 
• Define and execute the technical strategy for core cloud components in alignment with product, business goals, and company-wide architecture principles. 
• Drive delivery excellence, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. 
• Collaborate with Product Management, Security, and Operations Teams to prioritize initiatives and manage dependencies. 
• Partner closely with other engineering teams and architects to ensure cohesive design and integration across the platform. 
• Promote engineering best practices, including reliability, scalability, and security standards. 
• Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and ownership across the team. 

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in a cloud environment. 
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software delivery practices. 
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken). 

What Will Make You Stand Out 

• Experience with mission-critical systems with high availability requirements. 
• Understanding of secure software development practices. 
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred).
