Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Hungary. 

You will be responsible for developing algorithms, implementing tooling, and analyzing company data to improve our product portfolio on the market, and make our daily operations easier. Data scientists must have good problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with large data sets. An ideal candidate also has a passion to implement their algorithms in production which needs some skills in development. 

In This Role, You Will: 

• Work with various teams throughout the company to identify opportunities to improve our services. 
• Present research outcomes to stakeholders while making their business decisions easier. 
• Collaborate with different functional teams and help to move ideas from labs to production. 
• Analyze company data and identify suspicious anomalies and failures. 
• Develop processes and tools to measure the performance of our algorithms. 

What We’re Looking For: 

• Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development. 
• Expert in coding in Python language with multiple years of experience.  
• Experience creating and using advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics: regression, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.  
• Experience querying databases in SQL language. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional team collaborations and presentations. 
• Experience/Interest in developing tools in AWS (Amazon Web Service) ecosystem.
