Types of Browser Trackers You Should Know

Tracking your browsing activity can easily reveal your online habits and preferences, which can be used by advertising engines in order to profile you and turn you into their customer.

But not all trackers are bad. Some of them actually work in your favor by gathering data important to improving the website’s performance or saving your selections so you don’t have to fill in the same fields every time.

It’s worth knowing the difference as well as the proportion of actually useful trackers and those that give no benefit to the tracked users.
